High Rock Lumos
Good Will Ambassador for America's Mustangs
Titled BLM Mustang Gelding
DOB 2006
15.2 hand cremello
Lumos is a wonderful gentle old soul. He has a solid natural foundation start on him and after just 60 days training, and one trail ride, finished in the ribbons both days at the 2009 Taylorsville Trail Trials. Lumos backs, sidepasses, comes when called, stands next to objects for mounting, opens gates, drags obstacles, crosses water, climbs and descends trails like a surefooted goat. He loves people and attention. He has great natural barefoot feet. Rides in a rope halter. He has the best disposition and is willing to please. Friends describe him as a "one in a million" horse.
Lumos has an incredible story to tell and has finally successfully communicated this to his adopter. His faith in his mission is a strong one. Stay tuned for more exciting developments. Above photo taken at Camelot Equestrian Park in Butte Valley.

"Oh my! It's a magic gate!"
This is a picture of my niece, age 7, riding Lumos in January 2009 with maybe perhaps a total of ten rides on him. My niece loves horses but had no real riding experience prior to her experience with Lumos. Lumos will be competing at CSHA Trail Trials Events. Look for us on September 11, 2010 at the CSHA Region 2 Trail Trials at Meadowbrook. For a list of trail trial events go to: www.trailtrials.com and click on event calendar.
