Dixie is the daughter of the TWH Champagne Marvel SVF and the Arabian Athena. She is also the dam of the Friesian Sporthorse Dixie's Dark Lunar Magic.

Poor Dixie has gotten passed around a bit and came back to me in September 2011. She has a strong work ethic and wants to go out for a ride. However she is a sensitive soul and needs a confident, gentle rider with soft hands. She has an excellent flat-foot walk that can roll into a short-striding singlefoot if you know how to rate her properly and not let her break into a trot. She will trot and trot HUGE if you let her. She also loves to gallop. I cannot ride huge trot, so while she is here I am encouraging her to just work that magnificent active walk. She is one that I would consider a lease to an appropriate person. She is not suitable for breeding purposes nor would I encourage breeding in this economy. Dixie is a very responsive horse that wants to please. She is being conditioned for trail riding. She is not suitable for beginners due to her responsiveness to light cues. She neck reins and is presently being ridden in a bitless bridle.
