Welcome to the Four Square Horse Ranch!
Located in beautiful Northern California, 90 miles north of Sacramento directly off of Interstate 5.
Our horses like and trust people. They meet you at the gate to be haltered. We believe in allowing horses to grow up and mature before being subjected to the stress of riding. Before their first trail ride our youngsters are already trained to stand still for mounting, maneuver right, left, forward, back and sideways. They will turn on their haunches and forehand and will already be desensitized to many different stimuli, including tarps, plastic bottles, flags etc! Our youngsters are often taken camping and straight into trail trial competitions after 60 days training. They have the type of solid foundation training that builds their confidence and trust which results in an exceptional trail mount!
Four Square horses are trained without force, fear or intimidation to develop them into a safe, sane, smooth and sound
riding companion.
